Canadian cannabis activist Dana Larsen, was previously busy sending out copies of his Canadian cannabis history book along with grams of marijuana to all 184 Liberal Members of Parliament. He also a mailed half an ounce of Purple Kush to Premier Christy Clark. This time Larsen has announced on his website, overgrowcanada.com that he will mail 100 cannabis seeds to anyone who pledges to plant a cannabis 'victory garden' this spring "openly, freely, preferably on your own property." Dana claims it's an effort to help put pressure on Prime Minister Trudeau's promise to end marijuana prohibition. He says “It is civil disobedience against the unjust pot prohibition laws that has gotten us to the verge of legalization...let us finally bring out plants out of the closet and into the fresh air where they belong.” In an interview with VICE, activist Jodie Emery, Dana says, “I hope nobody gets arrested for openly growing cannabis...but if somebody does get in trouble, it'll provide the opportunity to challenge the law and demonstrate why it's unjust.”
